International Student Office

The International Student Office takes care of your visa documents and introduces you to things you need at Montgomery College. The office also hosts events to help you to meet other international students and American students, as well as visit areas near the College. The International Student Office and International Student Coordinators are here to help you with every step of your Montgomery College education. 

Support Programs

International Student Connections: This group was founded at Montgomery College in conjunction with the International Student Coordinators office to support international students.

Multicultural Students

The International & Multicultural Student Center handles all Global Connections events & International Buddy programming college-wide. International Buddy Program is a collegewide program that is designed to provide a mentoring relationship between current international students and Montgomery College alumni. 

Global Connections is a part of the counseling & advising department, and develops and coordinate programs and services for the College's increasing international and multicultural student population. This program provides a platform to address the social, academic and cultural interests of multicultural students and to celebrate diversity at the college.

Health Care and Required Medical Insurance

Medical/Health insurance is necessary in the US. There is no ‘universal’ healthcare system and the cost of care is extremely expensive.

Transferring on from MC

On the MC Transfer website, you can view transfer agreements, apply for Transfer Partnership programs, and explore transfer scholarships.

Work Authorization Options

Students in legal F-1 status have opportunities to work on campus and off campus.
