Description

This course prepares students for the LPIC-1 certification offered by the Linux Professional Institute. Linux is the most ported operating system around the world and is used extensively with the internet of things, smart devices, web servers and supercomputers. The LPIC-1 is designed to assess and certify a candidate’s proficiency in Linux system administration through computer based standardized testing consisting of two 90-minute exams. Upon passage of the LPIC-1 candidates are able to validate entry level administration skills to potential employers.

Keyboarding skills and some knowledge of operating systems
