Montgomery College’s Fire Science and Emergency Services Program offers an associate's degree and a certificate from which students may choose to fulfill their career goals. 

The fire and emergency services management associate's degree is awarded upon completion of all requirements in the fire and emergency services management, fire protection technology, and fire prevention technology tracks. A certificate is awarded upon completion of all requirements in the fire and emergency services management, fire protection technology, fire prevention technology, and fire and arson investigation tracks.

The fire and emergency services management program at Montgomery College prepares students to efficiently transfer and complete their upper-level coursework at University of Maryland Global Campus. The Montgomery College fire science program has educated the nation’s leaders in the fire service for more than 40 years. With our degree and certificate programs, this tradition continues into the 21st Century.
