WDCE Student Account Creation

Notice: If you attended Montgomery College in the past as a credit or non-credit student, or attended a Montgomery College Youth Programs summer camp or a corporate training taught by Montgomery College, You do NOT need to apply again.  

Instead sign into MyMC. If you do not remember your MyMC logon information follow the prompts when you click on the  "Access MyMC" orange button on the top right of this screen. The IT Helpdesk will assist you. 

Instructions for new WDCE students:

Part #1, Apply Now

  1. Click on the red "APPLY NOW" button on the top of the Montgomery College home page.
  2. Admissions Application page
    1. Click the red button "Apply  Online Now"
  3. Welcome Back page:
    1. Click on "First Time? Create Account"
  4.  Create an Account to Apply to Montgomery College page:
    1. Fill in the create account form with your contact information.  Be sure to fill in all required fields. Required fields are marked with a red *. 
    2. Under Additional Information section:
      1. The box titled "Please choose the option that best describes you".
        1. IMPORTANT: Be sure to select the option of: I am planning to attend Workforce Development and Continuing education (WDCE) noncredit course.
      2. The box titled "When do you plan on starting classes at MC?"
        1. Select the term from the drop down list. For best results, select the term at the top of the list (earliest term).
    3. When you have completed this, click on the blue "Create Account" button. 
  5. An email address verification link will be sent to the email address you entered on the form.  When you receive this email, click on the verification link to proceed. 

Part #2, Create a New Application

  1. My Account / My Application page:
    1. Click on the purple button "Create a New Application button"
  2. Application Page:
    1. click on the button "Start a New Application"
  3. Online Application page:
    1. Click on the button that says "Start Your Application"
  4. Fill out the application form. Be sure to complete all required fields. Required fields are marked with a red *.

6. Submit Application page.

Read the Certification information.  follow the instructions. And type your signature agreeing to the statement. Click on the "Submit Application" Button.

Part #3, When your account is ready

  • You will receive a welcome email that lists your Montgomery College ID number (M#), MyMC username, and next steps for claiming your account, registering, and paying your bill.
  • When to expect the email?
  • In most cases, students will receive the welcome email in less than an hour.
  • If your application requires manual review, you will receive the email within 3 business days (excludes weekends). This timeframe is extended during college closures (e.g., holidays, spring and winter break).
  • If you have not received the welcome email within 3 business, please call us at (240) 567-5188.
