  • USG Pathways & Programs Week (Virtual)
    October 19, 20, & 21; 6 – 7:30 p.m.

    Designed for prospective undergraduate students and family members, including high school, community college, 4-year university, and returning student populations. Each night will include an overview of USG, a student panel, and the chance to hear from and connect with program advisors from featured majors. There will also be information on Transfer Access Programs and a breakout room specifically for ACES students. The sessions are based on three respective industry clusters:

    • Tuesday, October 19: Bioscience, Nursing, and Health Cluster
    • Wednesday, October 20: Computing, Engineering, and Information Technology Cluster
    • Thursday, October 21: Business, Communication, Social Sciences, Design, and Education Cluster

  • USG Information Night for MC & FCC Students
    Tuesday, December 7,  6–7:30 p.m. on Zoom

    This non-industry-specific event will feature an overview of USG and MC-USG/FCC-USG Transfer Access Programs, a student panel, and program advisors from the majority of undergraduate majors offered at USG. Dual Enrollment and Early/Middle College students are welcomed, along with high school students planning on attending MC/FCC in the fall.”

    You're invited to join the University of Maryland A. James Clark School of Engineering at Shady Grove for an in-person open house event featuring two new exciting engineering programs: Biocomputational Engineering and Embedded Systems and Internet of Things (ESIOT).

    Registernew window today for the chance to explore the Shady Grove campus - conveniently located in Rockville, MD - and take a closer look inside the new state-of-the-art Biomedical Sciences and Engineering Facility. 

    During the two-hour open house, participants can take full advantage of several activities to learn more about our exciting degrees offered at the Shady Grove campus:

    • Attend an Information Session to learn more about the Biocomputational Engineering or ESIOT program, including the various options for transfer pathways.

    • Speak with our faculty instructors about the curriculum and the in-demand career options!

    • Explore the Biomedical Sciences and Engineering Facility through a self-guided tour — be sure to check out the specialized lab space!

    • Ask admissions questions and get application tips from our Clark School of Engineering representatives.

    • Hear about the wide range of student services available on the full-service Shady Grove campus.
