    The 2021 NIH Virtual Community College Day registration is now open!

    NIH is planning to include the following seminar topics:
    • Having resilience during these times of uncertainty
    • Seminar on “The COVID Vaccine:  Debunking the Myths”
    • Biomedical career panel highlighting many health professionals and scientists
    • Transfer/admission officers from local universities to discuss any updates/changes in the transfer/application process from community college to 4-year institutions

Faculty and students are invited to attend the event.  It is free and open to the public, please spread the word.

    During the two-hour open house, participants can take full advantage of several activities to learn more about our exciting degrees offered at the Shady Grove campus:

    • Attend an Information Session to learn more about the Biocomputational Engineering or ESIOT program, including the various options for transfer pathways.

    • Speak with our faculty instructors about the curriculum and the in-demand career options!

    • Explore the Biomedical Sciences and Engineering Facility through a self-guided tour — be sure to check out the specialized lab space!

    • Ask admissions questions and get application tips from our Clark School of Engineering representatives.

    • Hear about the wide range of student services available on the full-service Shady Grove campus.
