Banner Student Advising Profile Guide

Use the Banner Student Advising Profile to review student information that may support academic planning, registration, degree completion, transfer planning, and student support conversations. The profile provides access to curriculum information, enrollment history, academic standing, registration information, prior education, testing history, and related student records.

How the Student Advising Profile Supports Academic Planning

  • Banner Student Advising Profile provides academic, registration, enrollment, and student record information.
  • Starfish Student Folder provides context about the student's goals, concerns, support needs, and prior interactions.
  • College Catalog identifies program requirements and course information.
  • Degree Works (Degree Evaluation) evaluates progress toward degree requirements and highlights remaining requirements.
  • Starfish Degree Planner helps organize future coursework into a semester-by-semester pathway.
  • Perceptive Content provides access to transcripts, admissions records, forms, and other supporting documentation.

When preparing for an academic planning conversation, information from these systems can help provide a more complete understanding of the student's academic record, progress, goals, and circumstances.
