Home School Student Information
Home School Student Verification
Montgomery College requires that any home schooled high school student provide verification from their local school system that they are receiving home school instruction. Verification must come directly from the student’s public school system in the county in which they reside.
The student and/or parent must contact the local school system and request that the information be sent to the Dual Enrollment office at MC. The local school system may email written verification to the email address show below with the following information:
- First and last name of student
- Date of Birth
- Last date the student/parent was reviewed by their office
School system should send an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Written verification must be requested prior to your appointment with an MC Academic Coordinator.
