Nursing Refresher Lab
Nursing Refresher Lab, ▲NUR023, 8 Hours
This lab is for registered or licensed practical nurses returning to the work force. Topics focus on health/physical assessment, nursing process, communication, nursing care and procedures, current trends in documentation, and pharmacology. Attendance is required for on-campus labs, which will be taught in the skills lab at Montgomery College.
Prerequisites
Completion of the Nurse Refresher classroom from Montgomery College. Concurrent enrollment in Traditional Classroom Program - NUR057, and NUR007 or Blended Online – NUR069, NUR023 – evening, and NUR007.
The Maryland Board of Nursing requires 8 hours of this class. There is no payment plan for this lab.
