Returning Students
If you have applied to MC or taken classes previously, you do not need to apply again. If you haven't taken any classes in the past four years, please complete the Student Reactivation Form.

Congratulations! You're making your first move toward achieving your goals at Montgomery College. Your MC education begins with the admissions process, and we’re here to help you along the way. If you have questions or need assistance, please visit Raptor Central or call 240-567-5000. 

You may apply online by clicking the button below. You will be taken to our application system and prompted to create an account. The application fee is waived until further notice.

If you want to take noncredit classes with Workforce Development and Continuing Education, follow the WDCE registration instructions.

New students should make sure to apply and register for courses before the first day of classes. Below are some important upcoming dates and deadlines.

Spring 2024
  • Registration open now
  • January 22: Spring semester classes begin
  • February 5: 13-week classes begin
  • March 25: 7-week classes begin
  • May 17: Official end of spring semester
Summer 2024
  • Class schedule available for viewing
  • April 1: Registration begins for summer 2024
  • May 28: Summer session I classes begin
  • June 24: Midsummer session classes begin
  • July 8: Summer session II classes begin
  • August 16: Official end of summer sessions
Fall 2024
  • April 8: Class schedule available for viewing for fall 2024
  • April 29: Registration begins for fall 2024
  • September 3: Fall semester classes begin
  • December 22: Official end of fall semester
Winter 2024/2025
  • Class schedule available for viewing for winter 2024: To be announced
  • Registration begins for winter 2024: To be announced
  • December 23: Winter session classes begin
  • January 24: Winter session classes end
